Information needed on a safe place to buy a house close to Disney World

Hello:
Thanks for letting me join. My daughter is starting her new job at Disney World in June. So she will be moving there. We have looked at all of the options, renting, buying condos, houses and finally decided it is best to buy a house. I believe values are only going to increase in the future. I want somewhere close so she doesnt spend all of her time not working , in her car driving back and forth, the traffic is crazy. And we would be open to a short term rental area as that may make it a good investment in the future to keep or sell. We have driven around some areas the last time we were down there. Realistically we are talking $150,000 and somewhere decent and safe. We looked at some places in Kissimee and Davenport. pro's and con's of what we saw. I would love some suggestions of development names or even street names that would be in a good location. We drove out to Poinciana and that is not an option, something just didnt feel right about it. But many of the divisions on the way were nice such as Cresent Lakes, but now we are thinking also about Davenport or Clermont, but not really sure of the areas that are nice and the ones to stay away from.

Any suggestions and the reasons why would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We rented a house in Clermont and it was gorgeous and a very nice and safe subdivision (Glenbrook). We looked at the market (for fun) and a 4 bedroom was going for low to mid 200's.

I'm headed back in July on family business and we are renting in Davenport. I researched it and people here assured me it's a nice and safe town as well. Both are 10-15 minutes from WDW.

I'm thinking a smaller 2 bedroom or condo may be in the $150 range?

My parents had timeshare bordering Poinciana - never again.
