i have two questions. 1. Going to get a haircut at the barber shop on Main Street. Do I need a reservation. 2. Any advice about what restaurant on Main Street to eat either lunch or supper. Need help!

There are only 2 choices for TS dining on Main St: Tony's  or the Plaza. I think the food at Tony's rates the lowest in MK. Stick with the Plaza. Nuttin' fancy, but it's decent.

Now I'll wait for someone to say Tony's was just the best meal of their entire trip. :p

I've been to Tony's. It was late at night, I was visiting MK solo, exhausted and starving. And no ADRs were available anywhere but there.

I'm speaking to the children of the 80's. Did your mom buy Mueller's spaghetti and Ragu sauce? Mine did. I think the chefs at Tony's do too. And just like mom, the pasta is slightly overcooked. There wasn't anything wrong with it, it's just bland, which is maybe a good thing if you're trying to appeal to kids.

Anyway, I think I had a salad and chicken parmesan. The server was friendly and quick. The food was the right temperature and didn't make me ill. The restaurant had comfortable seats and AC. It met my needs and I was not unhappy. I won't make an ADR there for the whole family. DH gets bored with pasta, even if the kids love it. And there are better dining options in that park.

We tried Tony's in '08. Been back to WDW every year since, but not back to Tony's. I think we found the only CM/waiter who hates children. I agree that the food was as bland as cardboard. Listen to everyone else here and try someplace else first.

They do highly recommend reservations but they do accept walk ins. You could get in on a slow time, but you are taking a chance that you may not get in. Getting a haircut at Disney is popular because guests want to say they did it or their kid got his/her first one there. Young kids get a certificate. I enjoy a good chili hot dog at Caseys for lunch.

I'd go with Casey's or the Plaza. Tried Tony's multiple times over the years and it's never been better anything more than commercial Italian food to us.
