Inexpensive Hotels that allow pets?

My wife and I are considering a quick trip down to Orlando this weekend to just get away. Now don't shoot me, but since we have the AP's to Universal we were just going to hop over there. The problem is, we need to bring our dog. Can anyone recommend an inexpensive place near Universal that allows pets? We'll be using the kennels while we're at the park, but need to keep the dog with us at night.

Thanks, I did some more research and I think for this quick weekend trip we might just stay at the motel 6. I don't figure it's very nice, but it's cheap and it does allow dogs so I think that's where we'll stay.

As long as the bed is clean and there is a place to wash that's all that counts. Have a fun trip :wave:

There's a Motel 6 on American Way that's less than a mile from Universal. I've stayed there once and it was a clean, no frills place. It usually goes for $50-$60 a night.

45 bucks a night for you, 10 bucks for the dog.
Great place, just did it a couple of weekends ago.
