Include toddlers on ADRs?

Hello! We are making dining reservations for our trip coming up in February. We will have a 4 month old, a 2 year old, and a 3 year old in our group. Should I include the 4 month old and 2 year old in our total number of people for the reservations? I was thinking of including the 2 year old but not the 4 month old since he won't even be in a high chair. Thanks!

Whenever you make a reservation at ANY restaurant even wdw, you need to include everyone in your party!

Working in the industry, you as a guest are only doing yourself a disservice by not including everyone. You usually end up waiting longer for a table because restaurants seat and set up tables according to how many bodies are in your party, especially if you are a party of 5 and you only reserve for 4!

Some of this comes down to fire codes and overall restaurant capacity. I'm not sure how many total people you have in your party, but also be aware that you may be subject to an automatic gratuity if you wind up being a party of 6 or more...they count the children under 3 in that even if they're not dining.

are you planning on holding both the infant and toddler? if they are not counted on ressie, there will be no chair for them. example party of 4 plus toddler and infant on ressie will have space for 6 at table, without them on ressie only space for 4 people with 2 people holding little ones while trying to eat. and as others have said at Disney party of 6 or more,no matter age will have tip added,on ressie or not

I asked a cast member on the phone about this and they said it's mostly due to fire code and capacity limits. Unfortunately, I've noticed that it is much more difficult getting a reservation now that we are a party of 3, instead of a party of 2.

We asked when we took DD at 13 months and they said to always include her. Whether she was in a high chair, or a car seat sleeping, or a stroller, she was taking space up at the table & we needed a spot for her. I hadn't thought about fire codes, but that makes sense as well.

We just got back from a trip with our 15 month old. Definitely include them all. For the 4 month old, most of the restaurants will let you bring a stoller in. We timed our meals up so the baby would be sleeping. Most places, they let us roll her stroller right in. The only place that didn't was the Plaza Restaurant, since it is so small.
