The best parts about summer are:
1. Very few rehabs
2. More shows, parades, etc. than during other seasons
3. No need for long sleeves
4. Longer park hours = flexibility in touring schedule.

Frankly, WDW is better than being home in any season!

I agree completely. Since I've only been to WDW during the summer, mostly due to school, being at WDW in the summer isn't all that bad. Sure the lines are long and it's so very hot, but still, it is Disney World. Even though being in hot temperatures isn't at the top of my list, there is something special about being at WDW in 90 degree heat (and having to fill your water bottle up every half hour).

The water rides are so much more refreshing in the warmer weather. You can pack and dress lightly. The parks may be crowded, but at least most rides are open. Maybe I'll finally get a chance to go to WDW at a time other than summer (perhaps in the fall) after I graduate from college. :D

I love it in the summer....there is something about it. I personally love the fact that it's crowded...I love that the parks stay open later...I love that just about everything is open...I love the warmth, the sun, and yes, even the predictable mid-afternoon rain. There is nothing like WDW in the summer!

Summer vacationer only once over 4th of July, and I thorughly enjoyed it b/c everything is open all day and throughout the night till midnight usually.

It was HOT and bright though, but acceptable.Week after Christmas and Easter are also great times with sensational hours!

But I do disagree about 0 waits, I do prefer them, we just dont ever get them when we travel, go figure! You can wait for a new ride for at least an hour, and after that wait you EXPECT soemthing, and its almost always a letdown. Test Track for example, and K. Safaris. But they are fun rides for a short wait, we jsut know better now.

So far we've been in MArch, June, July, August, September and October (though not all in one year...) and have LOVED it everytime.

We would love to go for Christmas one year and maybe Easter too.

Disney is at its finest in the summer! I always used to go in April and thought nothing of spending over 3 hours waiting for rides like Test Track and Splash Mountain. After two or three rides, the day was practically over!!

When I went to college, we switched to going at the end of June. It is fabulous! No crowds, no lines, longer park hours, no ride closings, and the heat isn't even that bad...there's air conditioning everywhere!

Besides, Disney is meant to be experienced under sweltering conditions :D

They should have thought about that before building a park in Paris  It felt odd to be in a Disneyland wearing a coat and long trousers!
