In room microwaves?

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the boards. DH has been a member for several years and finally convinced me to join. I can't believe what I have been missing!

I have a question about the resorts, specifically deluxe resorts:

Can you request Disney to provide a microwave in your room? If not, can we bring our own?

I know Disney would rather NOT have you bring your own appliances from home into your room with you, due to safety and fire code issues most likely, but we have seen MANY people bring their own fridges and microwaves with them from their vehicles to their rooms upon check-in every time we are checking into Pop Century. We usually bring a toaster and that with us each trip, and are actually debating about bringing a small fridge with us next year. My wife found it at a garage sale last summer for all of $5, so if we end up leaving it behind after the trip, so be it. :ROFLOL:

I realize you were asking about a microwave and a deluxe resort, but just thought I would weigh in with my thoughts. :shrug:

I know that the All Star Family Suites have microwaves in them and the Cabins at FW have full kitchens complete with dishwashers.
