hey all my husband just gave me the OK the start planning a trip for next spring!! I was wondering if anybody had gone in March and what they thought of the parks then? We went to the parks last September and loved how empty they were they didn't care for the love bugs were the humidity. right now I am thinking of either the first or second week in March would there be anything to deter us from going then such as tour groups or big crowds? Thanks for any information that you can give us on the march trip. I'm so excited to start planning

We were there this year from 3/23 to 3/28. Most days were warm enough for t-shirts and shorts except one day we wore light jackets. The crowds were medium to heavy at times but nothing like they are for the week between Christmas and New Year. In some of the parks where we had FP+ scheduled we found that we really didn't need it for some of the rides we had planned and went through standby instead. AK is in my opinion the worst park to deal with crowds because it has the least amount of sidewalk space. Overall I would go in March again. Crowds manageable and weather not too hot or cold. Have fun!

We went in March for the first time this year. We had a cheerleader competition at Disney. We found the crowds to be very managable, even with the cheerleader competition going on. The weather was great. It was cool the first day so a light jacket was required, but it warmed up alot the next day and beyond. I loved being there for the Flower and Garden Festival. In my opinon it is a great time to visit!

I went one year the 1st week of April. It happened to be spring break for the local schools. The parks were packed. MK was at capacity near every day. The water parks however were empty. Seems the locals think anything below about 85 is too cold to swim. but my point being if you are going late march check spring break schedules. Some schools have early ones and you don't want to be down there during spring break. Especially the local schools spring break. Other than that the Flower festival for the spring is fantastic!
