Impressed in our first visit

So my daughter and I took a cab from the Boardwalk to Universal on December 28th to see the Harry Potter stuff. Very impressed. I assume we will be going to Universal for a day or two during all of our visits. Here's why:

1. The Harry Potter attractions are excellent.
2. Forbidden Journey is the best ride I have ever been on.
3. The cast members/employees were exceptional, including:
A. A man at Olivanders who came out to give pointers to my daughter on wand use.
B. An owl salesman named Roderick outside Forbidden Journey who was 100% happy and in character.
C. A line person at Gringotts who remembered me and Dr. Who shirt despite a 45 minute gap in time.
D. The Valets at the Royal Pacific hotel who were exceptional getting us a return taxi.
4. The theming detail is outstanding.

I wonder how lackadaisical Disney would be if not for this. Universal has upped the ante, and Disney is behind the eight ball in many ways right now.

Welcome to the other side . Glad you had a good time. I've only been to UO three times, but have yet to meet an unhappy TM at Uni.

Actually, there are no TMs from opening day that are still at FJ. But all employees working in Wizarding World are put through an HP class to make sure they know their role in the narrative.

I was inclusive of DA. Several I saw on opening day are there on a regular basis.
