Imagineers on Extreme Home Makeover

Did anyone see this week's episode of Extreme Home Makeover? They brought in a couple Imagineers to redo a little girls room into an underwater room. It was pretty cool. They should have a show where the imagineers redo people's houses...that would be too cool.

Anyways, this one "Synergistic" show for Disney. The family goes to WDW, viewers see the family having a great time watching Wishes, riding Splash Mtn, etc.

This was a cool show!
Lots of Disney stuff!

The underwater room was neat and the little girl was soooooo excited!

The family was genuinely thrilled with everything! It was a heartwarming finish!

And its so obvious how they give the families lines to say for the cameras while they're at WDW...:lol:

Well, for a totally new house and a free trip to WDW, I'd hope they'd have some nice things to say! It is a great show...Its amazing what they do in a week!

Even thought it was themed by Imagineers.....it had nothin to do with the Little Mermaid....no Disney characters in it.....it just looked it a ocean......not Disney like......

its been great so far....im on a break right now.....break between parks....my boyfriend is at work....i havent gotten around yet to a trip report but im workin on it....Still love WDW better

That's cool. I was interested in hearing another east coaster's view of DL. Can't wait to hear the details.

I think the room was really awesome looking, but I do agree that it really wasn't that disney-like. It would have been one thing if maybe they had flounder or something on it, but it was kind of like the Imagineers were trying to leave what most people think of a "disney" theme. I liked the room, but to look at it I would never have thought the Imagineers played a part in it.
