Greetings, Armchair Imagineers! Are you ready for a Game Changer?
Welcome back to Imagineering Weekends!
For anyone who doesn't know (which I imagine will be a lot of ya'll considering the last one was nearly a decade ago in 2016 lol), Imagineering Weekends was an event on the forum where smaller and more casual or short term games were set up. The focus was on fun activities and building the community!
Sometimes these would just be goofy threads like Whose Park is it Anyways where a prompt would be given for improv games and then forum members would just hang out and joke around. Sometimes these would be simple Imagineering Competitions with the One Sentence Competition getting its start as a part of Imagineering Weekends (technically there was one season of it earlier, but the real start of what we know the 1SC as was during Imagineering Weekends). Sometimes they would just be discussion threads like The Phillarmagic Playlist where forum members shared some of their favorite songs and chatted about music. Sometimes these would be trivia games where someone would host a game like Jeopardy for the forum!
So, the sky is the limit! The only "Rule" is that each event will be simple and accessible for everyone. Often taking place for one day only or a week at most. Hosts might even start things off but then pass it along to others to keep the games going.
The new Imagineering Weekends will begin November 1st!
