OK I have an Imagineering Challenge for you.
We are all well aware of the small number of attractions being put into HKDL for the Phase 1 opening.
But can a good park be built with a small number of attractions?

Here are the guidelines:
14 Attractions put into the classic Disney “Lands”
I don’t count the Castle as an Attraction, or parades and fireworks (but feel free to specify if you are feeling creative).
I do count Main St. Vehicles, Riverboats, and Theatres as Attractions.
No budget, only concerned with the number of attractions.
Attractions can only be existing, variations on existing, or a well-known “un-built ride”
(eg. Little Mermaid dark ride, Western Rivers Expedition, etc.)

So what 14 attractions do you think are necessary to make a great Disneyland?

Same way WDW and DL both opened with a small amount of attractions. (Disneyland to a greater extent).

Basically, you start constuction of the whole park but open it only when a few attractions are open. You however make sure that there are a good amount of new attractions opening within the next few years. Since it is Disney, the opening day will problably be crowded as hell. And once the opening day crowds die, a second series of attractions open that already keep interest for those who have already gone to return. Of course, the rate of new attractions would slow down to one new attraction every few years but it would probably take 10 - 20 years to reach that.

Since there aren't any budget constraints, why not just go wild on the number of true E-ticket attractions?

Fantasyland: - I believe Fantasyland would not be complete without it's 3 signature attractions, the carousel, dumbo and the tea cups.
1) Royal Carousel
2) Dumbo Flyers
3) Mad Hatter's Tea Party
4) Pooh's Hunny Hunt

Adventureland - We know that a land can exist purely for the existence of one attraction (Lost River Delta) Surely 2 huge e-tickets would be enough to save this land.
5) Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull
6) Expedition: Everest
7) Pirates of the Carribean

Frontierland
8) Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
9) Splash Mountain
10) Riverboat Ride (updated to have a show just like the Great Movie ride)
11) Haunted Mansion

Tomorrowland
12) Space Mountain (DLP)
13) Star Tours (with 2 new ride films)
14) Buzz Lightyear

Although running short on attractions, the park would be greatly themed almost to the point of comaprison with DLP, plus most of the attractions are major E-tickets with phase 2 adding 2 more e-tickets. AAn added bonus would be the superb amount of entertainment with 2 different parades, a castle stage show, a fireworks show, and a signature live show for each of the lands:

Fantasyland: Merlin and Lucky the Dragon (Merlin showcases his animatronic walking, talking, breathing baby dragon)
Adventureland: Festival of the Lion King (The AK show transformed into an outdoor streettacular)
Frontierland: Colors of The Wind (A musical show with Pocahontas and Brother Bear)
Tomorrowland: Stitch Attacks! (Stitch rampages Tomorrowland)

Fantasyland
1. Pooh's Hunny Hunt (Like TDL but slightly different storyline)
2. Storybook Canals (AGV boat-ride that goes through PeterPan, Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty dark ride quality scenes)
3. It's a Small World (Original World's Fair version)
4.King Aurthur's Carousel

Tommorowland
5. Space Mountain (New version, uses two across seating, has a boost launch but no inversions)
6. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (TDS)
7.Cosmic Highway (concept I've pitched before, cosmic themed autopia with electric cars, giving the feeling of really driving on the highways of the (never was) future

Adventureland
7. Pirates of the Caribbean (DLP)
8. Jungle Cruise (WDW)
9. Haunted Manor (HM themed to an abandoned British colonial era Manor set in the deep jungles, over grown with vines and other foliage, several different families lived there, but all mysteriously disappeared one after the other....has some new scenes but would mostly resemble the DL version in queue and ride, with bit more of a colonial flare)
10. The Enchanted Tiki Room (DL classic version, with some more up-to-date technological effects)

Frontierland
11. Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road (DL)
12. Country Bear Jamboree (WDW)

Critter Country
13. Splash Mountain (WDW, but with the added drop from DL)

Main Street USA
14. Magic Kingdom Rail Road (Stops in Main Street USA, Adventureland and Critter Country passes by an abandoned Jungle Camp, the banks of the Jungle Cruise, through Rainbow Caverns, through a tunnel through the alps, and a jules verne-esc grotto laboratory)

Interesting how different people find different attractions necessary for a land.
I took all darkrides for Fantastland.

Yikes. The real challenge seems to be the balance between E-Tickets and rides that are more kid-friendly. Especially since you only have 14 to choose from! Does the Railroad really count? Because everyone has to have a WD Railroad in the park, or else it wouldn't be a Magic Kingdom! I guess I'll treat it as an attraction for now, but I'll put an "honorable mention" at the end just in case.
Along with the usual parades and fireworks and shows and everything, here goes nothing:

Main Street: I'd go more with the WDW version
WDW Railroad

Adventureland: The Disneyland version would fit best here
Indiana Jones
Pirates of the Caribbean
Jungle Cruise

Frontierland: Spiffed-up version of Disneyland's
Big Thunder Mountain
Splash Mountain

Fantasyland: Lean towards Disneyland theme here
Haunted Mansion
Small World
Pooh's Hunny Hunt
Magic of Disney Animation

Tomorrowland 2055: Themed to original "New Tomorrowland" at Disneyland, scheduled to open in 1994 until...ominous music...Euro Disney killed those plans
Space Mountain
Rocket Rods (original version)
Buzz Lightyear
Autopia

Honorable mention: Star Tours
