Imagine what Steve Jobbs would have created in the Parks if Roy got his way :)

I read that Roy Disney once tossed around some names to replace Eisner and one of those names was Steve Jobbs.

Now I know there are some big pro-microsoft people out there but even those people have to admit that Steve Jobbs has an amazing talent for creating and unmatched sense of style/design. I think its a shame that we will never get to see what he could have created in the parks.

If you look at his creations they are amazingly clean and pristine which would seem to indicate that the parks would be the same way. He also believes in quality over price so I think the price may have gone up in the parks but he would have built some amaingly quality themed resorts and attractions to blow away anything universal could put up.

Anyway, what are your thoughts.. both good and bad of what a Steve Jobbs Disney World would have been.

I think Jobs has some great concepts, but I do question his ability to deliver on such large-scale projects. I would have loved to have seen him on the board, though. I think he could have brought some great consulting and blue-sky ideas. Perhaps Iger can foster a relationship there or something. Who knows what may come...
