Imagine a bizzaro world where Horizons replaced Mission Space

I was talking to a friend of mine who had never gone to disney until recently, and I was telling him about Horizons about how I loved it when I was little but I still think Mission Space is a better attraction.

But it got me thinking, imagine what these boards would be like if Mission Space was the original attraction (I know, the technology didn't exist, blah blah, just accept the premise for this thread) and it was torn down and replaced by Horizons. I just just see it now:

"I can't belive they removed such a great thrill ride and put a slow moving dark ride, how lame"

"I hope someday they tear down Horizons and bring Mission Space back!"

"The managment clearly has no idea what they are doing, the whole place is going to crap, BRING BACK MISSION SPACE!!!"

I just think sometimes we get lost in our nostalgia and remember things a bit different than they actually were.

Some would. However, most (the vast majority) would praise Horizons for several reasons:

1. The hardcore fanbase generally loves omni movers, and

2. Mission Space would have stuck out as a sore thumb in the original Future World and Horizons, on the other hand, would be a perfect fit thematically, and

3. The hardcore fanbase generally loves the Carousel of Progress and would (rightfully) view Horizons as a sequel.
