I'm Not Ready!

I can't believe that in 24 hours my plane will be on the ground, I will be on the Magical Express (if not at Boardwalk) and my excursion will begin. There's just one problem - I am not ready.

This is more than, where did I leave my sunglasses. I mean, I have not packed. I have not gotten money from the bank. I have not made put all my papers together for the trip. (Heck, yesterday I had to tear apart my hiding spots to try to find my Magical Express paperwork. And then my DVC card.)

At least I had made ADRs way back when....if not, I would be really at a loss.

This morning, I did print out the Food and Wine booklet to study on the plane, so there is that!

I finally figured out how I was getting to the airport.

Whatever, right? I know I am going to be in the World in 24 hours. And I am going to see the Go-Go's! [Note to self - go find the Tour Tshirts. And charge the camera batteries. Don't forget the laptop.....oh, so much to do.....]

Might I suggest closing up the laptop and getting off WDWmagic - that's probably the FIRST step in accomplishing ANYTHING today! ;)

Have a great trip...or as Belinda says...vacation (all I ever wanted, vacation have to get away). :D

Ummmm.....maybe I shouldn't tell you this.....but I am at work right now! I am a fill in school librarian manning the front desk right now. (I check out books, I sign the kids in and out, I clean up between periods....) It's so quiet I am planning my trip, and seeing what you guys are up to!!

Well then might as well hang around here! You've done this before - it will all come together - and you can always buy anything you forget. It may be 10x as expensive on property but at least you can get it!!

I had no idea how ready I had to be until I joined this forum! I was just going to book the holiday, pack and go. Until a few weeks ago I had never heard of ADRs, magic bands, fast pass plus. Now of course, I'm spreadsheeted and wishlisted right up. But I wonder what it would have been like, just to have that naivety, and arrive without a single plan?!

In the end, you most likley would have come home and said, "I wish I could have done more!" By visiting this site and listening to what people say we can learn from each other's trips and see what we can do to make the trip more memorable!

Gee @Spikerdink , I wouldn't want you to feel too much stress over this. So, even though it would be tough, if you really need me to go in your place, just say the word! (crickets).
No? OK, well, then relax and enjoy, and sing along to a lot of Go Go's when you get home from work and pull it together!

Not long ago you mentioned the possibility of not being able to go, so I think not being ready is much, much better than not going at all. Have a fun, safe trip.
