Thanks for reading, Im looking for a few GREAT words of wisdom from all you frequent visitors to WDW.

My husband and I are bring 10 yr boy and 8 yr girl for our first time to WDW. WE'd like to stay in a WDW property, where we have a kitchen, we'd like a great pool for the kids, and we'd like to be as close to most of it, as we can be. Ive been reading and found Saratoga Springs to match my needs, wondering if you have an opinion.

And if we do SSR, is there a specific building we should ask for. We would like to bus to many of the property destinations... i hear its a nightmare, any great tips?

Lastly, thoughts about going out to a grocery to buy food for the kitchen, for the week, is this feasible?

THANK YOU!!

Saratoga Springs is a boat ride away from Downtown Disney. If you really want to be close to the action, I'd recommend the Beach Club Villas (which everyone says has THE best pool on property) or Boardwalk Villas as they're walking distance from Epcot.
But SSR looks absolutely gorgeous, I'd love to stay there someday. Just know it's not as close to the parks as some other resorts.

Busing isn't really all that bad, you just need some patience. Crowds will be starting to pick back up around then, so just be prepared for that.

You could rent a car for a day and go pick up groceries. Or if you use a towncar service like Quicksilver to pick you up from the airport, they will give you a free 30 minute grocery store stop.

I'd also recommend that you book your trip as soon as possible. Resorts fill up fast =) Have fun!

THANKS for the feedback... more questions...

Im concerned that I am going to spend too much money, and not feel the worth, but I do know that I prefer to have the kitchenette.
I saw that there are villas in only the "expensive" areas... do you know if there are kitchenettes in the move Value Stays?

thanks again, i dont want to "waste" money, but I want our ONLY VISIT to WDW to be the best experience for our dollar :)

appreciate your candid feedback.

If money is a concern, consider renting a villa off property. You will miss out on some of the Disney Magic and guest perks but you save money and some villas are only a 15-20 minute drive from the action
