And it goes like this;

Is there alot of butterflies in central florida and the parks?

I know, I know just....i'm afraid of butterflies :(. And I run like a baby when one comes near me. It's quite a site to see, a 6'1 220 lb man running from a butterfly :O.

Haha, this post takes the cake. I've seen people afraid of bugs (I am petrified of wasps/bees) but, butterflies? Link to me ONE article of a butterfly harming someone and I'll dress as Cinderella!

Hey Guys Be nice! We all have our fears, and if this person has a hard time with Butterflies, so be it! It's not nice to judge....Now, I would stay away from the english gardens in Epcot. They are known for having a butterfly garden....and TRY to enjoy your trip!

I'm petrified of wasps/bees/hornets/yellow jackets/all bugs that fly and sting. I run around screaming and swatting when they come near me. Didn't have a problem until a wasp stung me. I don't know why I'm so scared of getting stung. I'm not allergic or anything.

There are all sorts of flying bugs in Florida. Some pretty impressive dragonfies from what I recal, but no more butterflies than anyplace else I've been.

It's not the actual bug bug, it's their wings and how they flap em. It just does it in for me for some reason. :(

Well, whenever I went to Disney World, I didn't really notice any butterflies. I'm sure they will be easily avoidable. If not, well...maybe it'll help you overcome your fear. Good Luck.

Don't go during the Flower & Garden Festival. They have a butterfly tent set up. I think it's beautiful. But it might kill you.

Heh yeah, I wouldn't step ten feet near that thing. The idea of a butterfly on me is just....ugh.

Yeah, we all have fears. Me? I'm afraid of commitment. Especially when on the CP!!!

Anyway, there are butterflies. But what constitutes "a lot?"

ctfu!

i love it!

i'm laughing with you, not at you. fears are not impossible to manage or get over, but, they are difficult.

its usually when you have a fear of something that you are most aware of them being around you. most of us would not notice the actual amount of butterflies around us, but you could probably count them all day long and have us  by how many there actually are flying around (i can't get that last sentence straight)

but this brings me to a question i read in the 'book of questions' about 10 years ago:

if killing a butterfly would bring you lots of money, would you do it? what about a roach?

of course, me? the butterfly would have to go! and i'm sure you, BCNHF wouldn't have a problem doing so either! lol

the logic behind the question, assuming most people would choose to kill the roach, was, what makes a living animal so beautiful any more valuable than another living animal simply because of how it looks?

okay i think i got to deep with this one :lookaroun
