Inspired by Illuminations 25 I decided to make myself my own version of Illuminations. I used part of the Illuminations 25 a score and added some of my own music to it to, heres what I got so far... It's not so visible yet because I didn't run the mist screen, the adhesive for the mirrors were still drying. The daytime pictures are shots of the laser house. Hopefully I will have video posted by tomorrow night. I also rigged it to go off independently every night at 9:00.

I built my own laser show once. First I ripped off the cover of my speakers. Then I glued a little square mirror on each speaker. I took different colored laser pointers and attached them to wood blocks and raised them with books until each one bounced off of its respective mirror. Turn off the lights, filled the room with "smoke" while I listened to music.

Yours sounds way better than mine.

"Smoke," eh? ;)

Here's the mist screen during the day, and that's the supervisor of the whole project in the second pic, the clock is also the control tower for everything, the lights, music, fountain, lasers and fountain shows.

Does that clock tower really protect everything from the elements?

Wondering about lighting and water damage to the electronics myself.

Towards the bottom of the tower there looks to be something similar to a Monster Power conditioner...

The clock is solid, it has a roof, whether treated lumber on the sides and it's survived all 4 seasons as well as all the hardware. That that tangled wiring in the front is audio, It's all torn apart right now because I was installing the laser show but the electric is all organized in the back. I'm going to make a new panel for the audio. The timer you see in front was gutted and converted to an audio timer. The laser house is built even better and gives me ideas for when I upgrade the clock when the time comes. The laser house has pond liner for the roofing and it's tucked under the eves and clipped on by those 2 moldings.
