I'm back!

I'm back planning my 2nd trip! I'm trying to figure out dates right now and whether or not to stay on grounds. I work for the Ritz Carlton and I can get rooms at any marroitt as well as the ritz for pretty cheap. I will have the first 2 weeks of december off, thanksgiving, and 3 months of summer off. Can anyone help me figure out the best time to go crowd wise and cost wise? I dont want to go with any dinning plans this time around either. I just looked and we could stay at the marriott close to the world for 44 a night.

I have foudn the week after Thanksgiving to be a great time of year to go. The Thanksgivingn crowds go home and you get the Christmas decorations and MVMCP. The weather is a nice change from what we usually get on our May/ June trips and it's warmer there than it is back here in IL. It's the best of both worlds, nice weather adn lower crowds and all the special feel and perks of Christmastime.

I also think the first 2 weeks of Dec are the best!! That is me and DH fave time to go. Low crowds, nice weather, and all the Christmas decorations and events. Summer is wayyy to hot, and crowded, and Thanksgiving is wayyyy to crowded!!!! Also if considering staying on property it will be the lowest rates out of all your date choices. Should be even cheaper with the Marriot and Ritz properties also due to the time of the year. So cheaper prices all around. We personally always loved staying on property. You get the perk of free parking(if you have a car) and you get to take advantage of EMH which in Dec really comes in handy b/c the parks aren't open as late as the spring and summer. Frankly if does not affect anything if they close earlier in December b/c you can see more in the hours they are open due to the low crowds. We will be there this year again in that time frame 12/5-12/16. 61 days to go! Whoo hoo!!!!
