Sorry for putting this in the WDW Category, but:
People in the NJ area: I am soon going to Great Adventure for the first time since moving to NJ. I haven't been to a non-disney theme park since my senior year of High School (1996) back in Northern California (Paramount's Great America). I weigh about 325 lbs., about 10 pounds less than the last time I rode a non-disney coaster. I am also very long in the torso and very broad shouldered. On my last trip, I remember distinctly having major problems on 2 coasters.
A "Wooden" coaster type ride: the lap bar fit very, very tightly, and the girl next to me felt very unsafe as she had LOTS of room.
And a hanging coaster where you had to buckle the lap bar and shoulder harness together.
The Shoulder harness only coasters seemed to be fine in my memory.
SO: those who have been to Great Adventure: Will I be OK, and which rides should I avoid as to not cause a scene when loading?? (I fear Superman: Ultimate Flight will be a no-go)
Thanks in Advance
Scott
