Anyone heard anything about Illuminations being changed?
There was a Jim Hill rumor about this.
I noticed on the Disney Site calendar for September, that Illuminations isnt listed.
But it is listed up until Aug 31, and For October 1 onward.

The rumor going on the DIS boards is that ROE is closing for good on Aug 30th. DIS boards got it from Jim Hill and clubthemeparks.com

If that's the case, that's definitly Disney's greatest secret. They'd never close a major attraction like ROE without announcements about a new show, etc.

OK, someone needs to stomp on this ASAP.

I'm going in October with my family, and this is our
most loved thing in WDW.

I will believe this is a lie until further notice. Nervously.

It is. :shrug: What could they replace it with? Why would they stop a sponsored show? And on top of that, there are contracts with the Merch companies.

I smell troll...
This show needs to change the entire middle section is a complete snoozefest.

Opinion!:wave::D

I asked this question last week and was told that it was a Disney website glitch. I am hopeful that that is the case because I will by very disappointed not to see it on my upcoming trip. I agee that it would seem unusual for Disney to suspend such a major attraction without letting it's patrons know.

Thanks for clearing that up

I originally heard this from the Disboards but thought someone on here might have more info on this.
I also thought it was odd that there was no Illuminations scheduled for September.
But I'm glad that its a calendar glitch!
