Illuminations fireworks cruise

Hi

I have booked the illuminations fireworks cruise for our trip to Disneyworld in September. I have kept it a surprise to my partner as I'm planning on proposing during the boat cruise.

Been looking a lot at it though and I'm trying to figure out the best time to pop to question. It will be my first time to disneyworld so haven't seen the illiminations before so no idea when would be a good time.

So - from experience what in people's opinions would be the bet time to pop the question

The Illumination Cruise is wonderful. I would say the best moment, is whatever is good for you. Since you said you haven't ever visiting Disney World, there may be a moment that just strikes you Much luck and Congratulations!

first, i agree with disneydebnj, whatever feels right for YOU will be the right time, but if you are look for a definite plan....
when you first get on, you go for a tour of the local area- down to DHS and Swan and Dolphin. After Illuminations you pretty much head back. so i suggest doing it during the tour. also, when checking in, (or even call the day before) if you inform the boat captain he can find a nice romantic spot and stop the boat for you and take pics, in my experience (only twice so far) they are very accomodating.
fireworks usually follow, not precede, big events anyway. "Look, we got engaged, and they're shooting off fireworks for us!"
