Illuminations Fireworks Cruise Question

I have an Illuminations fireworks cruise booked for September, but I'm confused on the times the cast members at reservations have been telling me. My reservation time is 8 pm, but the fireworks that night are 10 pm while everything I've read about the cruise says it only lasts an hour. Does this line up with others' experiences? Does it actually last more than an hour? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Edit: CM was able to finally answer the question. They make all reservations for 8 pm, since fireworks times can change. Check-in for a 10 pm show is really around 8:30-8:45 even though the reservation says 8 pm.

When do you see Illuminations (Epcot) scheduled for 10pm? It is always at 9pm, except during the Thanksgiving to New Years time, when they have it as 9:30pm due to the Candlelight Processional??

Unless you are scheduling a fireworks cruise on the Seven Seas Lagoon in front of the Magic Kingdom??

I stand corrected - I see it on some Friday-Saturday nights in September.

The CM told me it was scheduled for 10 pm, but subject to change. It's also listed as 10 pm on Disney's website: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/entertainment/epcot/illuminations-reflections-of-earth.
