Illuminations Cruise

I was thinking about booking one of the Iluminations Cruises and was wondering if anyone has done this in the past? Is it worth the money? Also I know it comes with soda and bag snacks (anyone know what a bag snack is?) and are there any other options for food and drink?

I did the Illumination Cruise 5 years ago and it was great. You dock under the bridge between France and England and have the best (unobstructed!) view of the show that you ever will have. Yes, it is pricey but I thought it was worth the money. The bag snacks are pretzels and chips. I don't know if there are other beverage options.

We recently did the Wishes cruise and it was amazing. I assume the Illuminations one is just as good. The snacks we got were popcorn, pretzels, crackers, chips, cotton candy, and peanuts.

You can arrange for things like chocolate covered strawberries, etc, from the private dining of the resort that your cruise departs from - all at extra cost though.

Have done both Wishes and Illuminations. Definitely worth i for a treat. You get a little tootle round on the boat too.

My oldest celebrated her 16th birthday with Captain Ron. Albeit several years ago. She still talks about it. But even back then it was worth every penny. And the best cake I've ever had on property. Yeah, the birthday cruise is more but still a unique thing to do.

When can you call to schedule a cruise? 90 or 60 days out?:shrug:

The cruises can be booked 90 days out.

The Illuminations Cruise is an awesome experience. It can be a nice romantic thing to do if it is just you and your spouse (or BF/GF) or of course you can bring the whole family. My wife and I loved it. You get to cruise around for awhile before settling under the bridge for the show, overall it takes only about an hour so I wouldn't worry too much about the food choices unless you really need to eat at that time.

It is an expensive but totally worthwhile experience!
