If your company Sponsered Disney!

OK, I may be pushing it adding this to Imagineers, but I think if we minimize Chit Chat and keep this semi-game/fantasy to a post or two per person it will be fine.

Here's the idea...

Each person tell where they work and then describe new attractions, restaurants, or concepts that your company would sponsor if they partnered with Disney. Obviously you can have several just like most sponsors do in WDW right now.

Tell the park and area your companies ride would be in and how it would pertain to your company. Give a brief (or long) description of your companies sponsored attraction.

I still haven't thought of any good ideas for my employer yet, but I wanted to get the ball rolling. You can be serious or silly. This could get interesting depending on who you work for...

Ex. A bank may sponsor the World of Money Pavilion and a Currency Exchange at the entrance of each countriy.

The World of Money would be next to and an extention of the Imagination Institute because it takes money to make dreams come true. Also they would share Eric Idle in the preshow singing his Money, Money, Money song before entering a ride through the Life of Walt Disney seeing both his Dreams and there reality and his successes and failures before Disney became the Cash Cow it is today. Other AA figures inside would include MC Hammer's rise and fall, Bill Gates success, Donald Trump, Ted Turner (with a brief appearance by Hollywood Hogan showing how people will do anything for the right price as Money Changes Everything plays), and Mr. Forbes.

The Exchange posts at the countries will give you an opportunity for a quick souvenir allowing you to exchange for currency of that nation to either spend in the countries pavilion or keep as an authentic souvenir.

Of course that was a silly suggestion, but just to give you the idea... when I think of a good one for my employer I will post again.

I don't work, but my dad works at a company (not giving away name) that works with controlls for appliances.

They would sponsor a resturant in Innoventions that would have everything automated. From pizza to chicken. You hit a button on a remote, and in it goes.

Test Track's dad is the Appliance Direct dude!!

I would probably sponsor something at EPCOT *cough* Horizons/World of Motion/JII/COP or something, since my profession is in the realm of education. Of course, education is reached through inspiration and imagination, rooted by classic spirits, songs, and attractions!!

..oh gosh..and one of my students was just on the news...I wlil be right back...

Tide Blue would sponsor an AA show-movie (in Tomorrowland, but NOT in the CoP or Timekeeper buildings) about the a new kind of virutal reality. But it'd be funny, I assure you. Everyone in the audience gets to put on these "Headsets" (aka. "glorified 3d glasses," a name that will reoccur during the show).

It's going to be hosted by two AA's (think Timone and Pumba, but robots... yeah...), Stracoli and Quip. They live more of an Abbot-and-Costello-esqe existence.

Also, two other robots in the show: a scientist, who got the wrong "teleport number" (a riff off of the wrong telephone number, but I shouldn't be explaining that), and an "Audience Bot" that fills in the gaps after Stracoli and Quip makes some bad future-jokes.

Unlike the other 3d shows in WDW, this one will only have a "brief but cool demonstration" of the technology. And then, something will go wrong, and hiliarity will ensue.

Finally, at the end, both Quip and Stracoli's AA are "shut down" and both AA's actually "fall over," prompting the end of the show.

As for the possiblility of that happening, there isn't one.... sadly...

Well, not being employed yet myself, I guess I could say my Dad'd company, being a Research Institute, would sponser an addiation to the Imagination Pavillion, as either a new dark ride or an AA based show hosted by Spark, the Pixie of Invention, she would guide guests on a whimiscal look at the invention of the greatsest inventions and the inventors that created them, as well as a generic look at the inventing process.
