If you purchase tickets on Orbitz, can you book FP+?

Only reason I would do it is I could use PayPal and get special incentives to use, but how does FP+ work? Can you look your reservation up on Disneyworld.com or can you use MDE to book FP+?

It doesn't matter where you buy your tickets from (as long as they're genuine) - the only thing which affects FP+ is staying on or offsite and the 60 or 30 day window

The one thing to look into though is if you're supposed to pick the tickets up at Will Call vs getting them before your trip in the mail, you'll need to make sure you can get an order number that can be used to link to MDE.

Yup, which I found out you can't. I had to fight with Orbitz to get a refund on the tickets.

This is an old post, but I wanted to share my (current) experience today booking Orbitz.

I booked my tickets through them fully expecting to get my Disney ticket confirmation number. Turns out, that will be true...but within 5 business days.

I used paypal as well, which is linked to my bank account, but I would have happily used a credit card if I had the opportunity to obtain my Confirmation number now so I could plug it into MDE account.

So I'll have to sit here and wait, possibly losing an opportunity to select FP+ before they are sold out.

But to answer the question, for anyone else curious, yes, you CAN link your tickets to FP+ and use them just like any other WDW 3rd party tickets.

Also...you can't earn "Orbucks", Orbitz rewards program, buying tickets from their website unfortunately, but you can earn Ebates rewards.
