If you had to choose a week....

It looks like I have some vacation time coming in April, and I was thinking of a last minute trip to WDW. No I realize April can be like the worst month to go to Disney, but if you had to choose either the 1st of last week of April, which would you choose and why. GO!

Crowd-wise I would think the last week would be better; spring breaks should mostly be over by then (assuming you mean the week starting the 27th, and not the last full week, which is Easter). It looks like the Expedition Everest Challenge is the first weekend of May, so things may start to pick up towards the end of the week.

If the week ends or starts with Easter weekend (Easter is the 20th), I would definitely avoid it. SO in that case, I'd go first week of April.

R u able to go in May at all? The week following Easter will b busy, but the 27-May 2nd should b fine for crowds...

I'm guessing the last week of April will be best. Hopefully airfare will go down a bit from now until then. Airfare & flight times from Seattle kinda stink right now. If I want a flight with reasonable times (aka not an overnight or landing at 11:30pm) I'll need to pay almost $450-$550 a ticket (and I need 3). Hoping to catch a break here, if not I may have to go to DL again.

I agree with others, it would depend on when Easter fell that year. Typically though, I would go towards the end to avoid late Spring Break vacationers as well.

As other have said, avoid Easter weekend if at all possible.

I know you said in April, but I'm going to be obstinate and say - if you can switch it to the first week of May you're going to be very very happy.

That was our time go for our first 7 trips to the World as a family and the weather \ crowd combination was hard to beat.
