If you could relive a previous year of the park's history, which would it be?

When was your first visit as a child? If your first visit in general was 2013 I would agree with your choice of 2015 because why not go with the anniversary year where everything is in tip top shape + all the entertainment.
My one and only visit as a child was 1997, when I was seven years old, followed by a WDW visit one year later, and then nothing until adulthood because, growing up in the Chicago burbs, we weren't close to either property, and my father had no interest in going back.

Mostly what I remember from that time are a few attractions and a lot of things I knew to expect because of Disneyland Fun and some things I didn't expect at all (Space Mountain). I wasn't really in a place to appreciate the greater nuances of the experience. Mostly that visit was led by my mother and her leading us to things she remembered as a kid when she had visited, but even that only went so far-there are some attractions older than she is that she didn't know about until she returned to the park in 2015.

You guys like to nitpick because you’re bored and have no ideas of your own.

Got it. Yeah so 97 doesn't really bring back a whole lot for you. I mean you'd get the Country Bears at DL back but I'm sure you've seen them/ the original at MK. Still think it would be cool though just to see the world/ park in 97 through the eyes of an adult. As a 15 year old in 97 I feel like I got the gist of the park and time period so 97 wouldn't do anything for me personally. Carnation Plaza Gardens I guess which I somehow don't have one memory of. Although I have a picture.

Potentially controversial opinion that I expect no one to agree with?

I miss the colorful Small World facade from that time period. While there's a certain elegance to the white and gold, I really do enjoy the way the international Small Worlds are still multicolored and vibrant, and it wasn't just the facade that made the difference for me with IASW vs. the WDW version-it was the exterior color palate as well.

Worse things could be done than have the exterior reflect the vibrant, colorful interior IMO.

I have to agree, the pastel colored exterior was nice, it gave it a more multicultural feel to it rather than just being all one main color of white with gold accents.

What, why is it so bad that I agree with a few poster? Would it make you feel better if I said I like the white and gold too?

Haha it’s all good. It’s just seems hard to believe that two people could disagree on 90% of things and more likely that you might be doing it for sport sometimes.

First I don’t do anything for “sport”, or in-spite of anyone. And if I’m joking or being sarcastic I’ll try to put a winky emoji. If I’m posting something just regularly then it’s really how I feel.

And yes posters can disagree on even 90% of things and still agree on the other 10%.

My comment was made in jest. But it does just seem statistically improbable to disagree on this many Disney parks topics or topics in general.

Don't know why you would think that. We're not a group hive mind here, we don't all have the same thoughts and experiences, so don't know why there is any expectation to agree on everything or even most things. We all come from different backgrounds, and even different parts of the world, and all have our own thoughts, feelings, experiences, which all lead to our own opinions, which can also change over time as we grow as people. Sometimes those opinions align with one another sometime they don't. But its not improbable to disagree, in fact its actually probably more probable than actually agreeing on everything.

We're just all different people who happen to all be fans of Disney.

It’s really not that serious man.

Also I didn’t say it’s improbable to disagree. I said it’s improbable to disagree this much about Disney as well the other non Disney topics that come up from time to time.

This isn't a serious topic, so I'm not taking any of this seriously. :)

I guess you don't come from a scientific background if you think this is improbable. ;)

Guess not
Seriously though, things would be boring and quiet around here if we all just agreed on everything. There would basically be almost no discussion.

Poster A -"Hey you like the look of xyz on that recent project?"
Poster B - "Yep"
Poster A - "Cool, me too"

BORING!

We're literally keeping engagement up by having actual discussions because we don't agree on stuff. Its good for the discussions and good for the site.

Who said I think everyone should agree all the time? I said I find the rate at which we disagree on a wide variety of topics to be notable / improbable.

But I feel you on your last point. When is WDW Magic going to cut us a check?
