If you could choose one over another which one?

If you could choose to bring back one classic attraction which one would you pick and which existing attraction would you eliminate to make room for it? simply choosing and not to say they have to go in the exact spot with the one you eliminate as not to disturb themeing. Just a fun selection. choices are as follows

Horizons

The Original Journey into Imagination

World Of Motion

Alien Encounter

Mr. Toads Wild Ride

Dreamflight

20K Leagues

Alien Encounter in a heartbeat - drop SGE and bring back the original. This attraction really scared the hell out of you and was something completely different than the rest of Tomorrowland.

Bring back Horizons. Bulldoze Mission Space; Dig a man-made 'sinkhole', and push the debris into it.

Best and most fitting way I can think of to right a wrong, and set things right with the world again.

Knock down Test Track, build Horizons on top of it. I'd be almost as satisfied with WoM instead of Horizons.

I would bring back the original JIYI (and spice it up with some 21st century technology) and scrap the current Eric Idle-themed disaster that even the Hooterville County Fair would be embarrassed to have.

Horizons would be my choice with some updates so it doesnt look dated but without getting rid of the original charm

This is extremely hard. I wouldnt be able to choose between Horizons, JII and Dreamflight. If I had to pick one though, I guess I would pick Horizons to be put where Mission Space is.

Same here. I realize that not everything can stay the same, but what Disney did with Imagination is, like you said, embarassing.

I'm torn between a few - but my favorite attraction ever was 20K Leagues. Granted I was much younger when it was around, so maybe it's my imagination that it was awesome. Still, I think they could prop it right back over top of Pooh's Playful Spot and I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

I'm also a fan of Horizons being built over Mission Space as that attraction makes me sick on either level.

Mr. Toads Wild Ride, it's the first ride I can remember riding. I also liked the Timekeeper too, both attractions were great.

Thanks man - glad to have someone else on the AE argument with me. I feel pretty strongly about it, just like you do about Imagination. 20k might be cool too, I last rode it when i was about 9.

Noo..Put World Of Motion in place of WOL and tear down stupid Mission Space :hurl::hurl: and put Horizons back...

Unfortunately never got to go to WDW until 2005, so I missed all these classic rides I have heard SO much about from friends and people on here. But was talking to a buddy on the weekend who went a lot as a kid and he was talking about how much cooler the rides were back in the day and I did say to him that I wished I could have experienced the 20K Leagues at least once before it disappeared.

Without actually experiencing any of the ones you listed, I am solely basing my choice on childhood fantasy. I was telling him how my grandparents use to bring me back souvenirs from Florida every year when they would return from their vacations and the one year they brought me this book (wished I would have kept it somewhere safe now :brick from Magic Kingdom with nice colour pictures of all the rides and that. It had this nice full page picture of the submarine from 20K Leagues and I just remember how cool it looked and how bad I wanted to ride it. Missed it by 10 years sadly!

If you want a really general idea, check out youtube. I know they have ride-throughs of horizons, and i remember something about 20k.

I don't really remember 20k vividly, but i remember it smelling kinda bad. I think some kid yacked in it the day i rode it. It was very hot and smelled vaguely gross.
