If they will be gone anyway....

Hiya! So I just recently (like two days ago recently) went to my first Disney audition, and was cut because I have s visible tattoo on the back of my neck that is usually always covered by a T-shirt, but became viable during the dance. I have already begun the process of laser tattoo removal, and only have a few treatments left before that tattoo and one between my shoulder blades are completely gone. My question is this: It takes up to 6 months to get a call back from Disney. I only have about 4 months tops left with tattoos. If my tattoos will be gone by the time they get around to casting and signing contracts anyway, would it be too terrible to just cover them with makeup for the auditions? I would just hate to get another "no" simply because of something temporary that will absolutely be fixed. I'm looking to be a character performer at WDW, Disneyland, or on the Cruise Line.

Thanks so much!

When you use the term "too terrible", it sounds as though you are asking a moral question as opposed to a question regarding Disney policy. If such is the case, I see nothing morally wrong with applying makeup to something that you are already in the process of removing. It is an issue of time restraint, not deception.

I almost covered them for my first audition, but I guess a was paranoid that they would leave a note with my name that I was dishonest if they found out. If that's a common thing, though, I will definitely try it. (: Any suggestions for what to use to keep it covered? I need something that won't rub off too easily.

Thanks Again!!

Probably heavy stage makeup would be best for your particular role

My goodness.. I hope I don't turn out looking like that to anyone!

I doubt it. I have seen about 4 CMs' that looked like they were late to work and did not have time to get themselves together. Ironically, this has all happened at Sports and all the CMs worked in the food court (different trips).
