If I purchase a ticket online can I extend its length at the park?

If I purchase a discounted 5 day park hopper from a reputable online dealer, can I pay disney to make It a 6 day and will I have to pay the discounted rate difference or the regular price difference? Have upgraded passes in the past to aps and only had to pay the difference as if I purchased the ticket a full price.

As of now you should still be able to have a ticket bridged. There have been some people who reported having issues with this on other boards, but according to CMs, the official policy is still to bridge tickets when applicable. This means that you would need to use the ticket once, and then do the upgrade. Make sure to know the current gate price of the ticket you are trying to bridge, as well as the price for what you want to upgrade it to so you can confirm that the CM is doing it correctly.
