If Disney has to bulk up would MGM be the best bet?

With the Comcast bids out there and Disney not accepting it rumors have it Disney may need to bulk up. I was looking at the options and MGM seems to be the best:

MGM Assests:

Film: MGM and UA with the largest film Library with over 4,000 titles. (keep MGM as a stand alone Movie Company like Touchstone)

MGM TV,Distributation, World Wide TV, Home entertainment, Interactive, and online : mergered into BVTV, BVI, etc...

MGM Networks: Sell off to Viacom or other Cable Gaints.

MGM ON stage: Disney Theatical Productions Merger

MGM Music: Merger into BVR

MGM Grand: Sell off

Disney would have to buy the rights of the MGM films from Time Warner who probably would take an offer due to there debt load.

What this could help:
1. Disney's Theme Parks- Disney/MGM Studios, Disney Studios Paris, and Disney's Cal. Adv. TP. (already adding the muppets)
2. Movie Pressence with a very large library more DVD's, etc.
3. More TV and movies to cross branded.
4. two franchises- James Bond and Pink Panther

Total price I hear MGM could be worth $10 Billion and TW holdings about another $1 Billion.

Considering the debt load and raising Disney's overall price this would stop Comcast and probably provide Disney with a nice size movie holdings.

From what I've read, aquiring MGM will not be enough to deter Comcast or someone like Comcast....it would help....but not enough...

I'm Just glad that my house in Florida is on Adelphia cable media, although there in financial difficulties at least my money is going into rebuilding them, not helping "COMCAST" :( taking over my favourite company.
