Right now I have us doing morning at AK and either a pool/DTD or PH if the kiddo already has her favorite.

I haven't eaten much at DTD so I'm not really aware of what's good or not.

We could possibly resort hop if it was the right place to go.

DH loves canjun, seafood, Mexican(ruled most of these out though-we are from TX and will just eat when we get home).

He's not super big into fancy places to eat.

I 1/2 thought of trying to get him a tee time at a golf resort. Could he rent clubs? Would I still be able to get one? If I did that I'd like to surprise him!

My DH loves to golf there and likes all the courses with LBV being his favorite after our last trip. He also loves seafood with two of his picks being Fulton's and the Cape May Clam Bake at the BC.

If he is big into cars, they have a huge car show at DTD that weekend. Hundreds of classics and muscle cars. We went last year and it was really cool. There's even activities for the kids.

407-WDW-GOLF is the phone # to make reservations for gold at one of Disney's 4 Gold Courses. You can google Golf at DIsneyworld and find a description for each course. My husband and brother-in-law thoroughly enjoyed their morning of golf. The clubs and cart are a part of the package and if I remember correctly, carts are mandatory. You cannot walk the course. There is also a CM who drives around in a golf cart selling water. Not sure when you are going, but if it is the summer, be sure to reserve an early AM Tee-time as it gets very hot.....although I do see that you are from Texas so heat may not be an issue. He will need to bring golfballs or buy them there for a premium. You can also go on the Disney Website and buy a cute gift card with a picture of Mickey Golfing on it. That is what we did for my husband. :cat:

Oh! That's good to know that the clubs are included. Thanks!

Yea, I'm not worried about the heat too much being from Texas...we are from Houston so we get hot AND humid. I don't vew any of our park days like any other day for us!

As a father and speaking strictly for myself, for father’s day at WDW the following would suit me just fine. A morning and early afternoon at Typhoon Lagoon, I love being one of the lazy people on the lazy river. Rest, then a round of golf at Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland followed by a steak dinner at Yachtsman or Shula’s and a beverage or two while watching Illuminations. Of course I would also settle for getting to pick the park that day and a hot dog at Casey’s.
