Ideas before the trip...

My aunt has had a rough few years and my husband and I are taking her to Disney in November (8-16) and we are footing the bill. She really needs it and I look forward to seeing her. Its him, myself, my aunt and his sister. We have a timeshare and tickets and such and with our work discounts its actually a really cheap trip. He and I go every year for the food and wine festival (this is year 5 in a row) and we timed it this year to also do the Christmas stuff, which we have never done. I have a few questions:
1) What nifty things can I do before hand to get my aunt "in the mood". She is really excited about the trip and I love the idea of her getting into it. What do you think we can do or buy to get her more in the mood. I made her a custom map on the website and got her a big pin trading starter set, but any other ideas?
2) I was hoping Magic bands would be ready for the 4 of us when we start so that I can link her band to my account to be able to give her cash to spend on her kids and such, and so we can budget. She has no money and we want her to have fun but at the same time have everything in one place. Any ideas from anyone when they will be available or who I can call. I have been reading the posts here daily and have called disney, but do you have any other ideas?
3) We have never been to the Christmas festival, any tips on that for a first timer?
4) Do you know where I can have current park maps sent to me? Just to have before for her (and us lol)
5) Any other tips would be really appreciated. She hasnt been in about 18 years and I want this to REALLY be special.

Thanks!

1. To get her in the mood, perhaps she would like a picture of the day and a trivia fact/question sent to her email every day. I send one to hubby when we get to a certain number of days before our trips. If you live close you could have a movie night with her and watch a Disney movie.
2. If you can't link the bands why not just slip her a Disney gift card that way she can budget what she want to buy and you have budgeted by giving a set amount.
3. There have been lots of threads on the Christmas stuff already but the must do's for Christmas for me are the Osborne lights (I can watch these every night while I'm there), Candlelight Processional (might want to do a dining package), looking the decorations in the resorts like the Grand Floridian, Beach Club & Wilderness Lodge, and the Christmas Party. If you can swing it in your budget the Christmas party is really special.

Also it is really nice of you to foot the bill for you aunt, I'm sure she appreciates it so just make sure to enjoy the time together!

You can do a welcome gift bag for her and sneak it into your/her room before she goes in. Plan a character diner with her favorite character. Get her this year logo t-shirt and have all the charters she meets sign it.
You can make her a 30 day countdown calendar, I print one out put it on poster paper and then add disney clip art that I find any where I can.
You can do a disney breakfast, one of my family's favorites. Mickey head pancakes, Winnie the Pooh French toast puffs.
You can order her the vacation video. They are free and you can have it shipped right to her.
