Idea for Wizarding World

Just thought it would be cool if they had some Owls trained to fly in and out of certain windows up and down the "street". Since they are nocturnal I guess it would have to be done around sundown, but it could be a cool live effect.

And how do you plan to protect guest from the ________?

Note: I did NOT say the C word above. It seems the the forums don't like the p word that ends in p either. So what is the word I can put so its not _______?

Droppings I guess?

Poo is censored if you put a P on the end? That makes no sense.

Hahahaha, the poo is part of the charm. Also it's good luck to get pooed on by a passing bird.

If that is good luck I would hate to know bad luck.

That being said it is a neat idea. Ultimately that is the issue the main issue they would have with it.

They do cover the idea quite magically though in the Three Broomsticks and Owl post Owlry area. As you may already know the Owlry has sound effects. Perched Owls and even traces of scat and mess all about with theming that implies they could just easily fly in and nout.

In The Three Broomsticks area there is light on the wall from what seems to be upstairs windows with the sunlight shining in. Periodically the shadow of an Owl with a message will fly in.

Well if they only let the out for an hour each night as the sun goes down it shouldn't be that big of an issue. They could train them to fly back and forth a few times before they would get fed each night, maybe an empty stomach would lower the chances of "a mess".

lol. I dont see this happening.

People would be diving out of the way to avoid the poo. Then WWOHP would be the place to NOT go. I can see the small children freaking out now. "Ahh an owl!!, Run!!"

That would be a nice effect, but a bad idea.

Trained owls are still wild animals and can fly where they want to and do what they want to. I think that would be a liability issue for Universal. What if an owl swooped down and try to grab a snack out of a guest's hand? Or worse attacked and injured a guest? There would be a nice little lawsuit for Uni lawyers to handle.

animatronic owls? put them in the windows looking down on people. no poo, no problemo.

except when they go 101 and require the disco-ness.

I think they should redo the street section. The castle was very cool but the rest seemed very disappointing for me. It felt very much like what it was, an over the top refurbishment of an old area. The shops were way too small (which I know isn't Universal's fault), and the re-branding of a few of the rides just felt cheap.
