Idea for Disney

I sent them a e-mail about it but I got back that they deleted it as they cannot acept ideas from outside sources (which I understand but I bet they took it anyway )

So here is my idea (with full blessing to them to steal it):

Next time they close down a ride for good (20,000, WOM, Imagination, etc. etc.) they should make some high quality POV videos of the ride and sell them. I know I would buy a video of some of the old rides if they have good picture and sound. There is just somthing lacking from the ones on-line (which I am greatful for anyways).

How about, rather than destroying the rides, film them with the newest technology to create a "Virtual" theme park and have CAVE/3d/simulator experiences of these rides.

Very little up keep, and they would be saved for all those purists who think EVERY ride should be saved because it's their favorite.


Mr Toad could be resurrected as a 3d CAVE experience.

WOM, JIYI, Horizons could be done as Simulators with Smell o'vision.

You could even keep the nostalgic, yet frightfully boring COP as a large screen film with a motion base like HISTA.

I have an even better idea. Why don't they put all the "old" rides in another place up north, inside. This way, us up in the north could enjoy them all year round, and the rides would still be around.
