Do you think it would be a good idea to make a Disney screenplay about the final days of Jim Henson and the drama that happened after his death. The story would cover his dealings with Michael Eisner in selling the Muppets to Disney, his involvement in creating Muppet Studios for DHS, his untimely death, the downward spiral of the negotiations with his children and collapse of the deal, and a final scene years later showing how Disney finally acquired them. It would be a very unusual screenplay for Disney as it will tell a not-so-glamorous behind-the-scenes story of the company, but a story worth telling, nonetheless. I know how to write screenplays and I'm a good writer. Just wanted to get everyone's opinion on this before I commit to writing it.
