Can anyone tell me what time Beaches and Cream opens, or if there is another place that serves ice cream, outside the parks. My 2.5 year old wakes up asking for ice cream right now, and when we go to WDW in Sept. I want to suprise her and take her to get ice cream for breakfast one morning around 9am.

thanks in advance

p.s. please no soccer moms or parental experts giving any advice about nutrition or raising habits. Thanks.

Don't you know that Ice Cream in Disney has no calories and is really good for you? :lookaroun

We've eaten Mickey Ice Cream Bars for breakfast before. This is your vacation, so why not live a little?

They had Ice Cream bars at the food court Everything Pop! at Pop Century.
I don't recall for sure whether there were the delicious Mickey Bars. I think so, though.
I can only think other food courts do the same, if all you have to do is slide open a horizontal freezer door. It would be silly to to remove them to a different place, since when the food court is closed, the freezer is either locked or non-accessible.

Sounds like Breakfast to me!

They definitely have the Mickey bars at Pop... or did in Dec 04 when we last stayed there.

First of all, please do not ASSUME "soccer moms" are all alike. I've been hauling my daughter and half the soccer team around since she was 6 - she is now 17 so I am a "soccer mom." I would never ridicule some one for giving their child ice cream no matter what time of day it is.

Second, ice cream is much healthier than all those heavy pastries a lot of people eat for breakfast. And who was the dumba$$ that said you HAVE to eat only "breakfast food" first thing in the morning. I've been known to have a cheeseburger for breakfast!!:slurp:

Third, I'm pretty sure my daughter got ice cream one morning in a food court at either POR or CB.:animwink: (Don't remember which trip it was) See, told ya we weren't all alike. Also, if you go to allearsnet.com, I think the hours are on the menu pages of each eatery. If not, I think you can go to disneyworld.com and find out.

EDIT: Just went searching for info..... no hours, but BnC is listed as only serving lunch and dinner so it probably doesn't open until 11 am (10 at the earliest) Sorry

Most of the character buffets have ice cream on them even in the AM.....
For real? I'm going in a few weeks, and we're going to Chef Mickeys (my first time) and that would be rockin' if they had ice cream for breakfast!

And....puh-lease, ice cream for breakfast is no big deal. Think of it as the "dairy" part of the food pyramid. And, if it's strawberry or something like that, count the "fruit" part in too. We could take this a step further and add peanuts on top for the "nut and protein" part, and a cherry would be more fruit! (I'm in college.....I could turn any junk food into part of the food pyramid.)

If your interested you can have breakfest in the parks and that way she can have ice cream and you could have a coffee and pastry or french toast (i forget the name but theres a place in the MK with really good french toast!). I stayed at the ASMO and unfortunatally the ice cream freezer always stayed empty during the breafest hours :( . Its vacation and you have to make it as magical as possible and if ice cream for breakfast will make it special for your daughter then go for it! She will always remeber the morning mommy and daddy let her have ice cream early!

Well, I have ice cream for breakfast at home sometimes on the weekends :slurp:

I've found that most WDW restaurants are pretty accomodating - my most recent example was the dinner at Kona when I was just absolutely craving their fabulous Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes (I know lots of people love the Tonga Toast - I do too - but these are even better!). Anyway, I asked our server if they could make them for me, she checked with the chef, and they whipped me up a plateful. My wife was so jealous
