I'm intrigued/confused/excited to see what will happen over the course of a year.

Personally, I think even a huge system overhaul (meaning structural elements) shouldn't take that long. Part of me thinks there could be some reworkings of the attraction that will greatly change what it is. Anyone else share this suspicion?

I dont think any aspect of design/story will change. I think you will see Animatronics come full circle from what they are now to a more modern day version. The audio system will be a blessing and then the removing of some nasty items in the ceiling will help to

And you thought the lines for Peter Pan and Pooh were bad BEFORE!!!

With it being down for so long I think a lot of people are going to expect a lot when it reopens. I hope it has a better looking front loading area with better colors. I really like Disneyland's.

Really? More modern day version as in "Sinbad's Seven Voyages" modern day update?

Posts have mentioned that the sound system is part of the rehab - does anyone know if the soundtrack is going to be re-recorded?

I doubt it. But I'm willing to bet, here and now, that we get a doll dressed like Lilo (perhaps with her Stitchy-poo) in the Hawaii section. Takers?

The soundtrack was completely remastered when the rehabbed the Disneyland version last year. It sounds great. I'm guessing they will use that version.

I have heard that they were thinking about doing the exterior to resemble the castle look that Disneyland IASW has but I am not sure if that is being done or not. I would love to see that done because DL's exterior is so much nocer the WDW. I think it would add that little bit of extra flair to the ride that it needs.

What I had previously read is that they want to recreate part of the Disneyland facade inside the building, in the loading area. It would be a huge improvement over the plain wall that is currently there.

I agree that wall is right out of the 70's.... :)
