Ok, so we have all had the thought of wanting to stay at the World longer. Whether it be and extra hour, day, or weeks we have all done it.
Let's share our stories or pictures of either us or our kiddos wanting just a little more magic time!
This was yesterday of my three year old nephew protesting our leave from our Animal Kingdom Lodge room to head home! Haha

Once you go Animal Kingdom Lodge, you never go back.

Which is why during our last trip my daughter suggested I purchase a home in Golden Oaks - I guess my DVC membership wasn't the right kind of Disney real estate for her.

Always sad to leave, but then as the sign says "See You Real Soon!" In 30 days, actually.

Still need to pay off my Visa. That's when reality sets in that the next trip can't be anytime soon. Maybe first week in May (last weekend of F&G festival. 1st SW weekend)

Oh the harsh reality that the trip has to end. I'm miserable on the last day as I go to MK one last time and ride my favorites one last time. All I can think about is how fast the days flew by and not knowing when I will be back. I thought about blockading my resort door with my suitcases and refuse to abandon my room but I know the world doesnt stop forever and I have to go back to work and face my responsibilities. Once I board ME and head off property I know its really over. DW and I dont even talk for a while cause once we do we'll both start crying.

I'm blessed with a job I can take off quite a bit, so I always try convincing my wife for us to stay longer when we go. Her job isn't as flexible so she uses that as the reason we can't stay longer.

Work is the only thing that is holding us back from going more often too. We have the DVC points, annual passes, and enough points saved on our credit cards for he flights. Just that darn thing called work! Haha

Has anyone ever read the half sheet of paper they have you sign for room charges when you check in? It has a statement on it that you are stating you have no intention to take up permanent residence anywhere on property. When I first noticed it I was bummed. Dream crushers!

I've taken my twin boys to WDW for in the park stays the past six years.
Every year they want to stay for longer than our Saturday to Sunday stay.
Every year, they not only don't want to leave Disney World, they also want to move to Florida as well.

This year we missed Festival of Fantasy twice due to weather. Our last day was spent at Magic Kingdom, with plans to be back at the resort at 4 for Magical Express. We decided we didn't want to go home yet, that we couldn't live another year without seeing FoF, so we watched the parade at 3 (AWESOME!) and then ran to the bus stop. We just missed the bus, waited around for 20 minutes or so, finally got onto a bus, but then they changed bus drivers and did their inspection thingy. We finally got back to the hotel at 4 and boarded Magical Express at 4:05. It was crazy, to say the least. So worth it, and not a bad way to distract yourself from the 'I don't want to leave" blues. ;)
