I Want I Want I Want On Dvd...

I guess I am one who wants many things Disney out on DVD. Personally, I want to see something about the openings of the other parks (much like the Walt Disney Treasures: Disneyland USA). I am going to do two things here. 1.) post a poll about what park you would like to see the opening to and 2.) ask everyone what they would like to see included in that DVD. Personally, i would LOVE to see the opening Epcot Center in Walt Disney World. However, i also would like to see the openings of all of the parks in WDW. I think that would make an excellent DVD. Im sure they had to have had someone there with video equipment. I mean, they were there for the first park (Disneyland). I dunno, I guess i want a DVD that would keep me entertained until the next time i went to the park. I know for sure that the next time i go i will be using a Digital Video camera and capturing EVERY MOMENT there and burning my own personal DVD. Heck, i even order the VHS vacation planning video every 6 months to see if there is anything new! :hammer: (Maybe theyll start sending out DVDs!) Anyway, just curious as to what everyone thinks!!!!

I'd love to see the dvd for the opening of each of the Florida parks.
I have the opening of epcot on some old tape somewhere, my dad was invited there for some reason, i dont' remember I was only 5

i personally like epcot the best.... but i think magic kingdom has more bang for the buck

So i guess im under the impression that these tapes do exist? Were they ever available to the general market outside of the theme parks? I see every now and then on EBAY you can buy videos that were sold. I do remember one time watching "Time and Again" i think it was called on MSNBC where they showed things that aired on TV in the past and talked about them, and one was about Walt Disney World AND Disneyland! Anyway, where could i get videos like these? Maybe a disney exec will read this and put out those dvd's! PEOPLE WILL BUY IT!!! Oh well, i guess ill just have to wait to see what the next round of Walt Disney Treasures are....

I've never seen any videos available on the opening of the parks, but I do have a tape of the grand opening of MGM that I taped from television, and I know for a fact that there is video footage out there from Epcot's opening. Not sure about Animal Kingdom or Magic Kingdom.

A new park DVD would make me really happy. I actually wrote to the home video division after watching the Disneyland U.S.A disc requesting that they do more like it -- even if it's just more of the old Disneyland shows...man, I've been trying to get that one with the Pirates of the Caribbean and Tomorrowland on tape for what seems like FOREVER. I check the listings on Walt Disney Presents every night for any theme park shows, but they never play that one...
