I think that's everything!

Ok so I booked a week at WDW from May 31st to June 7th roughly 10 days ago. Caribbean Beach, 5 day tickets, TS Dinning plan and memory maker….

Of course the discounts were released today. Well really I saw that Disney Visa holders could book these discounts Saturday so I applied online for a Disney Visa that night which should be here in 10 days. But then the GP had the ability to book today so I went that route. Guess I will just try and rack up points on that Disney Visa :)

Called Disney today and was told it would be eaiser to book the new package, then call back and cancel the old one. I was doing that tonight when I was offered a chance to "chat" online while booking with a WDW rep. That lead to them telling me no don't cancel just call and modify. Which I was going to do anyways but was told not too….. :)

So I call WDW tonight and spoke to the nicest most informed lady who set me up right!. No canceling just modifying. :)

Ended up with same dates but at the Boardwalk (instead of CBR), 7 day tickets with PH added, TS dinning plan and Memory Maker. I think we will enjoy the Boardwalk much more than the CBR as we are not renting a car this time. I just want to land, get on the ME and relax until I get back on the ME in 7 days. Driving is what I do in my real life, not my WDW life! Plus me and the wife can then both enjoy a beverage at dinner :) At the BW we can walk and boat to half the parks. Heck I guess we could walk to Epcot, take the monorail to the TCC and then take the monorail to the MK right? Leaving the AK the only park needing a bus ride.

Had to move around the dinning reservations some, ended up with;

Sat night ~ Akershus (seems like a nice way to kick off the week is grand Disney style)
Sun Night ~ Yak & Yeti (Had ressies last trip but had to cancel, not this time!)
Mon NIght ~Marrakesh (Being from Texas this is going to be an adventure for the kids, but looks good!)
Tues Night ~ Be Our Guest (I am a 45 year old married dad of 3, and yeah I am looking forward to this the most!!!!)
Wen Night ~ La Hacienda (Oh yeah gotta have some Mexican food, and the drinks looks nice too!)
Thurs Night ~ 50s Prime Time (Heard great things about the staff here, should be a great time)
Fri Night ~ Kouzzina (Menu looks good and close to the BW so it fits in nicely)

I have not eaten at any of these but want too :)

All in all I am very happy with the upgrade, we have only stayed on property once before (POR) and loved the resort but the location of this one seems awesome indeed!

Any suggestions are of course welcomed!

No suggestions, just jealous. I am dreaming of a trip but it is not going to happen this year and it makes me sad! Have a blast!

Your trip sounds great! I've always wanted to stay at the Boardwalk. It is convenient to Epcot and HS.

I've eaten at Yak & Yeti twice. It was delicious both times. Try to eat upstairs in the front. We had a great view of the bridge from our seats last year.

BOG is awesome too. Dined there last year and couldn't let it go when I wasn't able to get an ADR this year. Finally snagged one at 9:10 one night. That's a late dinner but its worth it.

Happy travels.

I am glad to see someone that is not driving their own car! I have the same opinion that you do - I do enough driving in my normal life. I love Disney transportation. We stayed at the Boardwalk last Sept, and my husband and I only took the bus to the AK. We always walked through Epcot and took the monorail to MK. For us, it was easier than folding up our stroller and getting on the bus, but it wasn't slower. We did some time trials against my parents on the bus, and the walking/monorail combination only took a couple more minutes. It is really cool in the morning, because you get to walk through the World Showcase before it is open. It is also cool at other times of the day, because the walk to the front of Epcot is just about the right length to finish a beer picked up from the Rose & Crown :)

You guys will have fun at the Boardwalk. The pool has one of the better waterslides, and there are all kinds of performers that come out at night to entertain everyone. Also, you can rent surrey bikes there and ride around the lake. I don't know how old your kids are, but I LOVED those stupid surrey bikes when I was around the middle school age. Who I am kidding? I still love those things.

Thanks all for the tips :)

Kids are 11 and 16, my oldest (19) is overseas with the USAF and this will be our first trip to WDW without him
:(

Looking forward to the BW pool, but that giant clown head by the waterside is freaky looking! :)

Great to hear about cutting thru Epcot to hop the monorail to MK, sounded like it would work but was not sure until now :)

I will have margarita or two for all of y'all!
