Hello WDWMagic community.

I need some advises. At this time next year (may 2015) I will be in my annual 2 weeks long Disney trip. For this particular trip I want to make something differents, something crazy. I have in mind to different option and it's here that I need you.

Plan 1.
  • Roadtrip to Cape Canaveral (I'm from Canada so it's a 2 and a half days trip)
  • 3 Night Bahamian Cruise on the Disney Dream - Itinerary A (Escale at Naseau and Casteway Cay)
  • 9 Night at WDW Resort (the resort is still to be determined) Included 8 days Magic your way ticket.
  • Roadtrip back home
Plan 2.
  • Roadtrip to Orlando (I'm still from Canada so 2 and a half days trip)
  • Flight MCO to LAX
  • 4 Days at the Disneyland resort Included 3 day ticket to Disneyland and Californian Adventure (1 day is to visit a little bit of the L.A. Area, Disney Studio, Muppet Studio, Imageniering, etc)
  • Flight back to MCO
  • 7 Night at WDW Resort (the resort is still to be determined) Included 6 days Magic your way ticket.
  • Roadtrip back home
  • Surprinsing as it is those two options cost aproximately the same. So it's is not a real factor.
I never been on a cruise or in California. So both plan is new for me.

So what do you think?
Sea or California.

Thank's for shearing.

There are good things with both plans. Plan 1 seems easier and seems like you'd get more time enjoying your trip vs. being in transit between destinations. Plan 2 sounds fun because I love the idea of going coast to coast; however, I don't think I'd drive all the way from Canada to Orlando to fly to California. i.e. I think you'd need to reexamine your flight options.

The price is.... really too much expensive to do that. A flight from orlando to LA is half the price of a ticket from montreal to LA.

And the 2 1/2 days of roadtrip is what we did every years. So we are kind of use to it. (usually I sleep all the way whil someone else do the driving :hilarious:)

Oh wow... I love this dilemma.
I say for 2015 do WDW and DL because I think it is the 60th anniversary of DL in 2015.

Then in 2016 or 2017 do the cruise combo plan.
