Situation: I have a friend who's in Kissimmee right now. She's from MI. Her son is very ill. She wants me to come down and see them. Tomorrow, they are going to Legoland with promo passes. I can't go tomorrow cause my son has a very important appt at 1. I thought about picking up and driving down today. I have APs for disney. I would love to get them in but can't afford full day tickets for her family of seven. Are there special rates for an after 4pm or something? Her son did a wish trip two years ago. Plus, they couldn't do anything last minute anyways. He's had a major rapid decline this year so I worry this may be the last chance he can do anything. Thanks for advice

Wow. Sorry to hear about your friend and her son!

I don't believe Disney discounts their tickets after a certain point in the day. However, I do wonder what would happen if you called down and asked to speak with Guest Relations? Maybe they could do something?

Going on the theory that it never hurts to ask, call Disney guest relations. Be courteous, but persistent and see if anything is possible. The worse they can do is say no, that it would set a bad precedent. Disney is a tight fisted money oriented corporation, but they have been known to do some very nice things.

In any case, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Good luck!
