Pre-Trip I must be crazy: Upcoming Combined Walt Disney World / Disneyland 70th Anniversary Trip

So I was originally planning to visit Mom in Florida on Mother's Day then fly to Santa Ana on 5/12, do Disneyland Resort 5/13-5/15 and return 5/17. Then I realized DLR kicks off it's 70th anniversary on Friday, 5/16. Ugh. I can't miss that. What do I do?

So I'm now still visiting Mom on Mother's Day, staying at Springhill Suites Flamingo Crossing, 5/12-15, visiting WDW 5/12-5/14 as an AP, and flying roundtrip to Santa Ana out of Orlando 5/15-5/20 so I can do DLR 5/16-5/18 and all the 70th Anniversary activities. I must be crazy!
