I went back to WDW to run the half marathon there over my winter break. It was my first half marathon and it was so cool! It was also the first time I've seen Stitch's Great Escape.
Was it a bad ride? No. But man, me and SIR were homies back in the day! I know it was probably better for Disney to uphold its tradition of "family entertainment" and replace it with something more enjoyable for the little tykes (and I'll admit I enjoyed it too), but I'm just reminiscing. God forbid they ever closed Tower of Terror for the same reason! Plus the premise of AE was just genius, pure genius! No less than what I'd expect from a ride with George Lucas at the helm.
Anyone else have memories from this ride they'd like to share?
