guys Im gettin scared for one of my favorite summer movies. Potter with that nasty 62 percent drop last weekend is doubting me it will make it to 200 million, It will at least 20 million this weekend. But its just not doing as good as the first 2 potter movies evan though it is much better. I think its a better idea for WB to launch these movies in NOv like the previous 2, they aleast get 3 or 4 good weekends in that time frame, because in the summer you just have Big Budget after Big Budget. But atleat Potter is doing good over seas, he has peaked 200 million overseas. With Goblet of Fire coming out in November 2005, that gives the Potter hype to rebuild, and also the new book should be brewing around that time frame. One bad note though about Goblest of Fire it is opening the same weekend as a the new James Bond Flick, evan though they apply to different audiences, that could take about a good 30 miilion off its weekend count. But thats not happening in a while but im just a little worried. These movies deserve 300 million, but we will just have to wait and find out.

Potter will probably break 200 Million--however, while this movie is the best one thus far, I'm still disappointed in the series as a whole.

I much prefer the appearance of book six rather than a new movie. GET WRITING ROWLING!

This week: The Terminal, Dodgeball, and Around The World In 80 Days.

Next week: Fahrenheit 9/11, White Chicks

Week after: Spider-Man 2

And there's still King Arthur, Anchorman, and I, Robot to add to the list in the weeks after Spidey.

Potter's box office totals are not looking good.....I wish they would have released it in November........:(

I think the movie will hit $200 million prior to Spiderman coming out, at the very latest, over the July 4th weekend.

As of yesterday, HP was at $166 million, the film is making about $3.8 million per weekday

Even though another family film is coming out this weekend, The Terminal and Fahrenheit 9/11 will actually help the family films (as parents watch those movies, they will send the kids to the kiddie movies)

Nothing that is coming out will hurt HP only Spider man 2 because it will take screens and the market. The Terminal and 80 days will do very little damage while Fahrenheit 9/11 will not put dents into potter record we should see it go to about 250 Million.

When all is said and done, Farenheit 9/11 will be bad for Disney. It portrays the liberal view of our current President and his cabinet. The last thing we want to do is take sides in a very close election year.

It will take more screens from Shrek that HP, currently HP is on 3855 screens, Shrek 2 is still on 3843 screens.

Interesting tidbit, HP made $3.6 million yesterday, Shrek 2 made $2.7 million..which is a lot for a movie that is 4 weeks old.

Disney is no longer associated with this film, except in the minds of people. The film is being distributed by "Lions Gate", which is a Canadian Studio.

The Moore movie crap will not effect big box office numbers. The only people who will see this drivel are those who are on the Kerry bandwagon. I'm sure, if someone dug far enough, they would find that Moore is actually related to Hitler, Michael Jackson, Turd Furgeson, and countless other 'shady' characters.
