I know you don't really need something to celebrate...but...

Does anyone else think of their vacations in terms of things they are celebrating? I think it makes me feel like I deserve a vacation a little bit more, and it makes me work harder until the vacation comes so I can reward myself. Thus...
- 2011: Celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary year. Celebrating passing my PhD qualifying exams (assuming I do pass) and getting my dissertation topic approved (assuming it gets approved...)
- 2012: Celebrating going on the job market and almost being done with school. Celebrating selling our house in preparation for going on the job market (and yes...that's a big assumption, I know!).
- 2013: Celebrating graduation and being a doctor...even if it's the kind that doesn't help people (a little "Last Lecture" quote there...). Celebrating having a new job and moving to a new place.
- 2014: Nothing comes to mind yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something! :ROFLOL:

I take the approach that every breath I've taken for just over 19 years is something to celebrate. :king:

I will agreed to your advice and also celebrate the things which you have given for me. I am satisfies by your events to celebrates. I am very much impressed by your idea of giving the celebrating things.
