I just signed up for the Mickey's jingle Jungle 5K

I just signed up for my first jingle jungle 5K. This will be my first time running through animal kingdom and my first time running at Disney solo. I've done other 5k's at Disney and enjoyed stopping for character photos with my family. Do you think it is weird if I still stop for character photos since I am running alone? Are these characters in Christmas clothing?

Don't worry about it there will be plenty of people posing solo. I think it might be a bit too early for Christmas characters, though there was a very odd Christmas photo stop at the WDW marathon last year with reindeer, toy soliders, etc. I think I remember @Ariel484 capturing a photo of it.

Yep, I do have a picture of that set-up from the marathon. It was definitely a weird one.

I read a blog from either last year or the year before where all of the characters were out in their Christmas sweaters/scarves and Goofy was dressed as Santa, so that's what I'm expecting for this year. No guarantees, of course.

This will be first first race ever, so I picked a fun Disney event to wet my feet. I'm excited about pictures, but I'll be alone too, so if you need a picture buddy I'm happy to help
