So I was looking in Google maps earlier today when I had a realization. The grand Avenue area around muppetvision 3d reminded me quite a lot of monsters inc, and so I was thinking: it may not be great from a Disney fanatic standpoint, but it would be perfect if monsters inc were to take over that area. Imagine: mama Mel rose becomes Harry hausens, muppetvision 3d becomes monsters inc laugh floor, all those streets and atmosphere would fit perfectly for a monsters inc themed area, and if not grand avenue, then maybe echo lake, the star tours attraction could become a monsters inc simulator ride!

I've actually seen a rumor for that in the past. I'm not sure where I saw it.

I'd rather Disney just give us another attraction in Muppets (like The Great Muppet Movie ride). But if they have to replace it, Monsters would be an awesome addition to Hollywood.

Same, and if they did that I think they could put it where mama Mel rose it’s a wonderful shop and all that is because that’s a spot that could fit a decent sized fantasyland style dark ride in, about as big as Winnie the pooh

My sister would be so sad if they replaced Muppets. But, if they really want to (which they should not because it is the only representation that the Muppets have in WDW.), I would love to see Incredicoaster from DCA.

Monsters Inc. is one of my favorite movies, but i personally think there is not enough land to make it work. Would not be mad tho!!!!!!!

When I look at that area on google maps, its the same size and shape and the que building for the new GotG coaster. And then I think, its between 2 star wars areas....what if they relocated muppets, made a new launch coaster like GotG but star wars themed with the massive showbuilding behind the new starwars land. They dont even have to put the entire que indoors it could be outdoors weaving through something cool, or indoors in the rebel base with a cool star map like theyre using in GOTG coaster.... they could really expand the entire land and keep it immersive.

imagine a ride where you take off from a rebel base, fly through xwings/tiefighters and destroyers and then get to the deathstar, fly thought a canyon and blow it up...you could relive the movie on a coaster haha. Plus then all the star wars land would flow together and youd get much more immersion and cohesion. instead of star war, muppets and star wars....its 1 big star wars... Also, that billion dollar star wars hotel....why not have a giant exclusive ride in DHS to make that super expensive hotel stay even better
