I got given two free tickets from work to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D on Thursday. Can't wait. Wasn't really looking forward to it when first heard about it, but Johnny Depp is never bad for me, and Burton's rarely off.

I'm actually really looking forward to it - I've not really seen much about what the new movie will be like, which I think is kinda a good thing.

All I've heard is that this is like Return to Wonderland, she goes back to espcae...:shrug:

Went to see it last night - it was awwwwesome!
I would definately say that this Alice in Wonderland is very dark, so be prepared some frightened kiddies - it's not really scary, just some of the imagery, but hey, Alice never really was a kid's story.
March Hare was a standout for me, as was Tweedle Dee and Dum. I was really surprised and impressed with Bonham Carter. She was excellent - her frog men were hilarious.
As usual, Johnny Depp didn't disappoint however he's not in it nearly as much as you would think.
Overall 4/5.

Only thing that stopped it was from being a 5, was Alice. She was good but felt she could've been better.

I CAN NOT wait to see this movie. Gonna have to wait til I get back from my trip though. I am really hoping for some good Alice merch in the parks while I am down there.

I reallllly have to resist buying a Hatter hat on our upcoming trip. I must also stress that some reviews have stated that the story has tried to be modernised, one review going as far to say that Lewis Carol would be turning in his grave because Alice is a teenager.

I am guessing that they will have some great merch in the park. I hope you find some nice things. Not being able to see the movie until after your trip will give you something to look forward to when you have to return home.
(I see from you sig. that you will be staying at Coronado Springs! I just stayed there for the first time this Jan. and absolutly loved it! Have fun!)
I've seen some photos of some of the merchandise that's available at Disneyland so I would assume it would be the same at WDW.
